The long-awaited iPhone 15 has been officially launched by Apple, with CEO Tim Cook explaining it will be retailing from $799. With textured matte finish and a robust ceramic shield, this exciting new innovation will introduce five fresh colors - delightfully bright shades of pink, yellow, green, blue, and black. A key feature of this new launch is the incorporation of USB-C charging cables, applicable to both the iPhone 15 and the Airpods pro variant, delivering seamless compatibility with existing charging cables for the full range of Apple's portable gadgets.

The iPhone 15 boasts a large 6.1-inch display and a battery powered by completely recycled cobalt. This will hit the markets on 22nd of September and customers will be able to pre-order from the preceding Friday. At Apple's annual September event, held virtually this year, the worldwide vice president of iPhone Marketing, Kaiann Drance showcased the superb features of the surprisingly advanced iPhone 15.

She stated that iPhone 15, along with its higher-end variant, 'iPhone 15 Plus', present a significant leap forward. Key innovations include dynamic camera features that evoke creativity, an intuitive Dynamic Island, and provisions like Roadside Assistance via satellite networking that can prove highly crucial in times of need. 'She further added that the computational photography is escalated to an impressive new level with a 48MP primary camera housing a 24MP default option for extremely high-resolution pictures, a new 2x telephoto setting, and avant-garde portrait snaps.

The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, which begins at $899, include a 48-megapixel dominant camera, essentially capable of twice the telephoto range than its predecessors for clicking pictures, and recording 4K videos. New features enable users to click elegant portraits without the need to switch to the portrait mode separately.

The intriguing iPhone 15 also has an enhanced display quality, a 48-megapixel camera with 100 percent recycled cobalt battery. For the first time, Dynamic Island will be included in each unit, a pill-shaped cutout at the top of the screen which will display notifications and current activities. Users are sure to appreciate the OLED Super Retina display, which supports Dolby Vision content with brilliant brightness that can reach up to 1,600 nits.

Apple's new top-of-the-line watch, the Apple Watch Series 9, was also announced at the event. The watch is equipped with new features like the ability to answer calls and cancel alarms through hand gestures, thanks to machine learning technologies. This attribute senses minute changes in blood flow when a user taps their fingers together, thereby freeing up the other hand for activities like holding a cup of coffee or walking a dog.

The new Apple Watch Series 9 includes innovative features like the ability to share contacts instantly by tapping the watch to an Apple device, and the capability to synchronize with a Home Pod. The updated watch also incorporates a novel internal hardware that can register hand gestures, thereby allowing users to answer calls and dismiss alarms with a simple tap of the index finger and thumb. The new watch is available in colors like pink, starlight and silver, with bands made from finely woven cloth for the ultimate in comfort and sophistication.
