Despite the emergence and development of dedicated AI hardware devices such as the Rabbit R1 and the Humane AI Pin, these innovations have not yet succeeded in capturing significant market interest, primarily because they offer limited functionality in comparison to the multifunctional capabilities that users have come to expect from devices like the iPhone.

The Humane AI Pin, despite its cutting-edge aesthetic, falls short in terms of performance.

This does not mean, however, that these companies, and others like them focusing on AI technology, should cease their efforts and withdraw from the market.

What seems to have been overlooked by these companies specializing in AI is the importance of designing hardware that enhances the capabilities of smartphones, rather than trying to replace them, in the same manner that Amazon's Ring and Google's Nest devices have successfully done.

As AI technology continues to advance, it will undeniably prompt the evolution of many existing devices and technologies.

Currently, smartphones remain at the forefront of cutting-edge technology and show no signs of being displaced in the foreseeable future.
